Saúl Martín developed a passion for woodworking at a young age which led him to earn a degree in Cabinetmaking and Millwork at Los Angeles Trade Technical College. He has been at Architectural Woodworking Company, a high-end commercial millwork firm in Los Angeles, for nearly 30 years, where he currently serves as VP of Manufacturing. His commitment to the woodworking industry has led him to involvement with the student organization SkillsUSA at the local, state and national level. He was recognized as “Industry Person of the Year” in 2014 by the Los Angeles area California Industrial and Technology Education Association (LACITEA), and in 2020 by the statewide CITEA organization. He is the founding and current Board Chair of Society of Wood Manufacturers (SWM).
