Reuben Foat leads a discussion on safety culture in an educational environment and will share some of the practices in place at Cerritos College’s Woodworking program. Attendees will come away with resources and insights on maintaining a safe woodshop for students to learn in.
Objectives:
• Discuss the most dangerous tools and practices in an educational and ideas on how to address them
• Gain resources, such as sample handouts and safety tests, and learn about successful safety practices with other educators
