Making the Connection Through Cabinet and Closet Software

A brief presentation from KCD Software’s Sales Director Ken Frye. An overview of Cabinet and Closet Software and how it can be used for Design to Manufacturing. Take an empty room or space that requires cabinetry or closets and see the process evolve. Software can help you manage hundreds if not thousands of details saving you time and reducing costly errors. Record your field measurements by using a tape measure, laser measuring tool or from a blueprint. Define your Cabinetry details, Door Styles, Material and so on. Take your design and create Elevations, Floorplans and 3D Renderings for your clients. Produce an estimate, proposal or contract. Generate a traditional printed cutlist or generate the files that instruct other machines to cut, rout, and drill. This overview will give listeners the big picture from Designing to Manufacturing using software and how it is beneficial for all parties involved.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Learn the advantages of having CAD/CAM Software
  2. Have a better understanding of how software can connect to other machines
  3. See how software can communicate on different levels to Customers, their Shop, and different Machines and Installers.
