What is Space Draw?

Space Draw is AWFS®Fair’s priority booth placement process. Participating in Space Draw provides exhibitors the opportunity to select prime booth locations.

When is Space Draw?

Space Draw will begin in February 2026 and will take between 6-8 weeks to conclude, depending on the number of companies eligible to select their booth.

How do I participate in Space Draw?

1. Submit your booth contract and 15% deposit before January 31, 2026 to be eligible.
2. Each exhibitor will be assigned a date and time for booth selection.

What is the Space Draw process?

• Only companies who have submitted their contracts and paid the 15% deposit before January 31, 2026 will be eligible to participate in the Space Draw process.
• AWFS® members will select space first, in order of seniority points, highest to lowest. Members must be in good standing and have paid their 2026 member dues by the December 31, 2026 deadline.
• After member selection is completed, non-members will select space in order of seniority points, highest to lowest.
• For exhibitors with the same number of seniority points, the deciding factor on who goes first will be the date the contract/deposit was received. The earlier contract/deposit date will pick first.

How are seniority points determined?

Seniority points are calculated:

• Booth Size (1 point for every 100 feet of exhibitor space at the 2025 AWFS®Fair)
• 1 point for each consecutive year exhibiting at the AWFS®Fair
• Example:
  • 2025 booth space was 400 sq. ft., which equals 4 points.
  • 5 consecutive years equals 5 points.
  • 4 (booth size) + 5 (years) = 9 seniority points
• Exhibitors may received additional points for purchasing signage or sponsorships at the 2025 AWFS®Fair. Points will be based on the level of participation as part of the Sponsorship Loyalty Program. As an exhibitor reaches certain preset sponsorship targets, they will be awarded additional points. These points are only good for the following year.

How will I be contacted?

The Trade Show Contact on the Exhibitor Space Rental Agreement (aka booth contract) will be contacted approximately two weeks prior to their allotted Space Draw time. The contact will receive an email with their appointment request for a (phone) conference call. The email request will have all the instructions to complete the Space Draw appointment. Please accept the day and time or request/suggest a new day and time.
