The College of Woodworking Knowledge® (CWWK™) is power-packed with topics to address business and manufacturing challenges, including strategies for the future, technology and product advances, a series on Lean Manufacturing, making environmentally sustainable advances in your company, improving finance and marketing skills, safety courses and many more. We listened to attendee input from 2007 and focus groups following the 2007 show to create a program of maximum benefit for you. The program includes classroom-style seminars and panels, lecture demonstrations, All-Day Workshops and the popular SMART Seminars (Special Machinery and Relevant Technology, the technical sessions conducted on the exhibit floor before the show opens in the morning. MAY WE USE YOUR KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE? AWFS® is seeking qualified presenters to share practical information and methods for skill development at the 2009 College of Woodworking Knowledge®. Programs must be well defined, have relevance to the industry and be specifically targeted to an identified audience. Sales pitches are prohibited. Presentations must include a relevant and useful handout for attendees. Proposals will be evaluated by an industry-wide Advisory Committee and AWFS® staff.
